Courses are run using modern up-to-date course books and the latest methods. Pair work, group work and task based activities are part of the daily timetable.
The course provides practical guidance in the development and application of linguistic skills relevant to the examination requirements including vocabulary, grammar, text production and analysis, listening and speaking. Weekly practice tests based on past papers provide an assessable framework to effectively gauge student progress. In-class follow-up activities encourage students to cultivate self-assessment skills to monitor and refine their own development.
This 15 hour per week course provides you with a solid foundation in grammar and the main linguistic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. There is a central course book and workbook and teachers supplement these using authentic materials such as newspapers, magazines, menus, manuals, brochures and other books.
Non-EU students must register for and sit a recognised end-of-course examination such as Cambridge, TIE, IELTS, TOEFL or TOEIC examination.
This is a purpose-built gated students accommodation situated between the city centre and the University of Limerick. There are two and three bedroom apartments. Each apartment consists of one en-suite bedroom and one or two double rooms.

Buses to Limerick City Centre run every 15-20 minutes. The bus journey to the city centre takes about 10 minutes.
